great information. I've had an olive tree for years in a pot and has survived very low temperatures in the uk. Never had any fruits though larger than approx 4mm. I have a pit from Greece that I saved but only one so hope it germinates and your video here will help me with that if all goes well. Cheers!.

You forgot to say you can plant any and / or all of your cuttings to grow more plants. On that note, if you can get a cutting from an older specimen, it will cut your need to wait so long before you start getting blooms. You will need to pollinate the flowers yourself.

Charcoal has been used long time ago in orchids media by farmers...they just use normal charcoal for burning it is good enough.
